We need to hear y’all from the front to the back for this one - ‘Cause Demi Lovato is touching down in the Sunshine State for her It’s Not That Deep Tour on Friday, April 10th. And for us? That means the Kia Center is about to be baptized in bass, glitter, hit tracks from our Radio Disney childhood, and pure emotion as we see a real legend finally take the stage here. And we know you know that we can all throw a party down here in Orlando, and Demi? She sure AF knows how to finish one — so you can already imagine how wild this night’s about to get. We’re talking thousands of us in the crowd, every lyric screamed at full volume, and news reports tomorrow on whether it was an earthquake or a concert here at the Kia. Biiig pop energy, it’s giving healing arc, it’s giving “we grew up with her and now we’re all back outside together.” Orlando — it’s our turn to go crazy.
If you know, you know — Demi Lovato’s been in the game. She came up through Disney like the rest of our early 2000s icons, but the difference is — she never stayed stuck there. From Camp Rock and Don’t Forget in 2008 to Here We Go Again in 2009, she built that alt-pop-rock sound that became the soundtrack to an entire era of teens figuring themselves out. Unbroken gave us “Skyscraper,” a ballad that basically tore everyone’s hearts out in the best way possible, and Demidropped “Heart Attack,” one of the most iconic pop singles of the 2010s — period.
