There’s so much alternative rock coming to Orlando when Weezer brings The Gathering to the Kia Center in Orlando on Sunday, October 11th, 2026.

Weezer: The Gathering is a North American arena tour that travels to 30+ cities including Sacramento, San Francisco, Sacramento, Vancouver, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Houston, Phoenix and Las Vegas.

Weezer

The four-time GRAMMY nominees will surely put on an unforgettable performance, playing a mix of fan favorites like “Buddy Holly,” “Island in the Sun,” “Beverly Hills,” “Pork and Beans,” and “Undone – The Sweater Song” and songs from their newly-titled self-titled album ‘Gold’ (due to release in 2026) including lead single “Shine Again.”

With Rivers Cuomo at the forefront and over 30 years of musical history behind them, Weezer has written and released 19 studio albums, achieving multiple platinum albums, including their iconic Blue Album (3x platinum). With the impact that Weezer has had on the 90s indie and nerd rock scene, this band is truly one of the greatest of our time. The band consists of Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, and Scott Shriner.

The Shins

Lead singer/songwriter James Mercer is the creative force behind The Shins. As the principal member of the band, Mercer combines musical indie pop with elements of psychedelic music and folk in his compositions. Fans can expect to hear such favorites as “New Slang”, “Phantom Limb”, “Australia”, and “Simple Song” and see why these songs are considered some of the best of modern indie rock.

The huge following The Shins have gained can be partly attributed to the film Garden State in which “New Slang” appeared. The band was also nominated for a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album for “Wincing the night Away” in 2008 (Billboard Top 10 Alternative Album).

Silversun Pickups

The band consists of of two California native guitarists, a bassist from Oregon, and a drummer from Michigan and a lead vocalist and primary songwriter from Los Angeles. Their songs have received high acclaim in the alternative charts and have been featured in several video games including Guitar Hero with the songs “Lazy Eye,” “Panic Switch,” and “Substitution.” The band’s seventh studio album “Tenterhits” was released in February 2026. The album is a collection of songs from the band’s 2022 album “Physical Thrills.” Silversun Pickups’ music has often been compared to that of Smashing Pumpkins and My Bloody Valentine.
