The Bag Policy and Security Screening Procedures
You may bring one small clutch purse not exceeding 4.5″ by 6.5″ by 1″. This small clutch can accommodate your essentials, like your phone, wallet, keys, and identification.
Medical bags and parent bags represent the only exceptions to the limited bag policy. These bags cannot exceed 14″ by 14″ by 6″ and must be clearly necessary for medical purposes or caring for infants. All medical and parent bags undergo thorough X-ray screening at designated security checkpoints.
All guests pass through metal detectors before entering the facility. Security personnel may also use handheld wands for secondary screening if the detectors alarm. During high-attendance events, screening lines can extend 20 to 30 minutes, so plan accordingly and arrive early to ensure smooth entry.
Camera and Recording Policies
Personal photography for non-commercial purposes is generally permitted using smartphones and small cameras. However, you cannot sell, license, or commercially distribute photos taken at events without explicit authorization.
Video recording policies vary by event and artist. Some performers prohibit all video recording, while others allow short clips for personal use. Flash photography may be prohibited during performances, as it can distract performers and other guests.
Age Restrictions and Supervision Requirements
Children of all ages are welcome at most events, though policies vary by show type. Children under certain ages, often two years old, may enter for free if sitting on a parent’s lap rather than occupying a separate seat. Once children require their own seat, they need a ticket regardless of age.
Unaccompanied minors face restrictions at most events. The venue typically requires children under certain ages to be accompanied by an adult. These policies protect young guests and help maintain appropriate atmospheres during events where alcohol consumption is prevalent.
The Re-Entry Policy
The venue allows re-entry under specific circumstances, primarily for smoking purposes. When you need to exit temporarily to use designated smoking areas, you must follow the proper procedure to maintain your ability to return.
Before leaving, present your ticket to the security staff, who will scan it out of the system. You’ll also receive a hand stamp that serves as verification of your original entry. No beverages can leave the building during temporary exits.
Upon returning to the venue, you must present your ticket for re-scanning and display your hand stamp. The designated smoking area for Orlando Magic games is the Magic Grill, while other events expand access to include The ULTRA Lounge area.
Medical emergencies requiring temporary exit may receive special consideration beyond the standard smoking area.
Smoking and Tobacco Policies
The venue maintains smoke-free policies inside the facility. Smoking, vaping, and tobacco use of any kind is prohibited in seating areas, concourses, restrooms, and all enclosed spaces. Designated areas exist outside the building for smoke breaks.
